Brucee Lee, dövüş sanatlarındaki ustalığının yanısıra, felsefe konusunda da hatırı sayılır düşüncelere sahiptir.. Ancak söylemleri arasında belki de en meşhurlaşmış videosu budur. Aslında dövüş sanatları için yaptığı bir konuşmada kullanmıştır bu sözleri. Ancak çok derin anlamlara sahiptir. “Empty your mind, be formless… shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle; it becomes the bottle. You put it into a teapot; it becomes the teapot. Water can flow, or it can crash. Be water, my friend…”
